Happy Fourth of July!
We started the holiday off with a 30 mile bike ride. Nothing major. 🙂 That’s the longest ride I’ve done in a long time, and for the most part I was pretty pleased. My back decided to rebel at mile 24, right about the same time the heat and sun decide to make their presence obvious, so the last 6 miles were pretty tough. All in all, a good ride.
We celebrated the 4th with our traditional dinner of ribs and banana pudding at Dreamland BBQ. We went there on our first 4th of July together and decided it was a good tradition. 7 years later, we’re still enjoying it!
To see the running photographic evidence of seven years of tradition, see Kenny’s blog.
Then we settled in for the Auburn town fireworks.
An excellent day. Happy fourth to you!
